Hi there, I’m Gila.
I’ve always loved writing, and for as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about doing what I can to make our world a better (and happier) place.
While studying for my MA in English Literature in London, I had my career epiphany: I would channel my love of writing into supporting good causes.

Soon after, I began working as a copywriter at an international development organization in London. That was the start of a nonprofit career that spanned 15 years and was spread across two countries – the UK and Israel.
​
Over the years, I led high-impact fundraising and communications initiatives for leading nonprofits including the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, (ACRI), ASSAF: Aid Organization for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, and the New Fund for Cinema and Television in Israel (NFCT). I raised tens of millions of dollars in funding and created powerful communications campaigns for diverse organizations.
